The Word of God – We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the ultimate authority in matters concerning faith and conduct. Further, we believe the Bible was penned with the inspiration of, and inspired by, the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity – We believe in one God, living and true, that exists in three Persons. We believe the three to be equal, celestially perfect ; that they have perform separate but symmetrical duties in terms of formation, guidance and salvation.
God, The Father – We believe in God our Father, a boundless, intimate spirit, perfect in every way. We believe He cares deeply about happenings of us all, hears and answers our prayers and that He saves all who are drawn to him through his son, Jesus Christ from the perils of spiritual demise and sin.
Jesus Christ – We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and made man. We believe in His birth to the Virgin Marry, his life without sine, miracles, and teachings. We believe in He died for us and further, we believe in His resurrection from the dead, ascension to heaven, everlasting intervention on behalf of His people and His return to us, on earth.
The Holy Spirit – We believe in the Holy Spirit, born from the Father and Son, sent to condemn the world to sin and judgment, and to offer all who believe in Jesus Christ rebirth and blessings and to empower them toward greatness. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in everyone who believes in Christ and that He is a living assistant, guide and mentor.
Rebirth – We believe that all men are condemned because they are sinners naturally and by choice. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives new life to those who confess their sins, ask for His forgiveness and trust in Jesus Christ.
The Church – We believe in the ecumenical church, a living spiritual entity where Christ is the leader and people reborn are members. We believe that the local church is comprised of a group of people who believe in Jesus Christ and are baptized on their declaration of faith. Further, they come together to praise and worship Him, to fellowship and to work together for causes greater than them. We believe that God has entrusted the members of the local church with the important task of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to a misguided world.
Christ-like Behavior – We believe that, as Christians, we are called to live for the glory of God and the betterment of those around us that his behavior should be free from criticism before the world. Additionally, we believe that man should be a faithful trustee of God’s and his resources and that he should endeavor to know for himself and those around him the fullest of development in Christ.
Baptism & The Lord’s Supper– We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has entrusted two decrees to the local church, those being baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe the Christian baptism to be the bathing of a believer in water, in the name of the one God. We believe the Lord’s Supper was created by Christ to celebrate His death. We believe that these two decrees should be observed and given until His return.
Freedom of Religion – We believe that every human being has a personal relationship with God and answer only to God regarding all faith matters. We also believe each church is independent and must therefore be unencumbered by authorities, be they ecclesiastical or political. Consequently, separation between Church and State must be maintained as each has different purposes and each must be able to fulfill its duties unencumbered by the other.
Promoting the Cause of Jesus Christ – We believe that cooperation within a factional organization is the best way for local churches to promote the cause of Jesus Christ. An organization of this kind, regional or district conference, should be and function guided by the will of the churches that make up the conference. Participation is not, mandatory as such, may be terminated at will. As well, churches may work with other interdenominational fellowships.
